Long May It Rain
It was dawn but it was still dark. I drove like a Granny as a litre of Petrol was going up, even as I drove. Rain from Monmouth to Hereford. I used one of my two Costa Coffee free drinks in Costa, a large Cappuccino. It was wall to wall Brenda Bunting in the Kings Fee. It may have even had a foot rest at table 27? You know, it’s always good times in The Hereford Beer House. Also Fine German Ales.

A dark but light start to the journey. Rain from Monmouth to Hereford. Using the app to get a free large Cappuccino in Costa. The Kings Fee was covered in Brenda Bunting and it was packed. More great Beer Learning in The Hereford Beer House. Watching the weather. Heavy overnight rain.
20220604 Prelude mb07 Hereford April 22
The first time this year I could put the phone on the steering wheel and start recording. All very calm departing at 04:45, just as dawn was dawning. Still it was rather grey and it started to rain at Monmouth. A quality Hereford Beer House plan that turns in #mb08 on Monday. A free large Cappuccino in Costa Coffee.

Garden – December 2021
Well December is usually cold, wet and Full of Christmas. Add to that this year it’s mild and it has the second Covid Christmas. Emptied one of the Potato grow back and had chips made from Garden Potatoes, they were rather good. The main thing about December is the Christmas and Boxing Day seed catalogue sales. Obviously online, with the discount codes they send out and a Topcashback referral code. This year was no different. I filled my boots. Please rain stop enough for me to dig the garden. Happy 2022.

Garden – August 2021
They say that August is the wettest summer month and August 2021 has certainly proved that to be correct. It’s actually raining as I write this and it’s stopping me from taking the video and photos. So, what happened since the last update, well mainly Potatoes and Cucumbers. The various varieties of Potatoes made great chips but I was rather disappointing by the yield, both in size and actual cropping. Still, I’m going to blame the poor Spring. Cucumbers, which were well hidden under their leaves have grown and are still growing rather large. No need to buy any. Still, they are a little bit bitter, compared to shop bought. The 2022 Summer Onions have been ordered and should arrive at the end of September. The 2021 crop is currently being eaten and it is a good if not great crop. The Peppers which are indoors, are coming on rather well. All in all, a bit of a mixed garden bag.
