Summer In The Ponty Rain
I thought it was time to spend a Saturday in Pontypridd. Mid August and it’s hammering down with rain. A can of Son of a Beach from Tenby Brewing, that is much better than the cask versions I have previously had. Detail Duo failing and a plea for help to their Discord. Typical High Summer in The Valleys.
For Saturday 16 April 2022
The Saturday Wrap for 16 April 2022. Lawn mowed, another hard frost, Windows Camera, first signs, Tea Urn, Flat battery, FAMS3, Malvern Tyres, Fixes, Hot Spring Sun, more planting, Chase and Good Friday Dry Diag. #Pontypridd #SaturdayWrap
It’s Guidance not Law
England has Plan B and Wales has Political Banter and a vague mask mandate. Caerphilly, Pontypridd and Treforest. More Festive Ales with silly names. Making the most of it while I still can.
Double Take Curry Thursday
Overdoing it on the chip front on Curry Thursday in The Tumble Inn, Pontypridd.
Back Indoors
Back Indoors
Monday May 17 2021 and it’s back indoors and not straight through and out into the Carpark in The Tumble Inn. Although as it is called

Not very secret and more like the carpark. Although when the wind dropped and it didn’t rain it really was rather pleasant and the staff were real troopers. I wonder it the secret garden will still be open as I’m not sure where the 314 will all go?

Time to go in. Still there is Covid security in place. Me, I’m more of an app punter. Got there early and it was already full with pushchairs and babies already awaiting entry.

The World shortage of beers is already showing up. Had to exchange a Camden Hells for a BrewDog Elvis Juice.

And before you ask the Secret Garden is still open should you wish to sit out side. Also while we were all siting outside Hard Seltzer became a thing. Strange times indeed.

And to end on a positive note, Steak Tuesday and Curry Thursday are back. Getting there.
