An hour and a half sleep in. I get my last Bean to work. The Constable opens at 09:0. A new festive variant. A Cloudwater 10% to start and rather stormy.
A New Strain For Black Friday
Just in time for Christmas, a new strain of the Rhona. I use the last of my saved Costa Coffee Beans. The Bar in The Lord High Constable now opens at 09:00 instead of 10:00, very positive. Gentle Dogs, lots of people and Pink Floyd on YouTube. A massive Mini Beano.
2021125 mb08 Day 01 Wrap
As cold and clear as you can get without frost. High contrast and semi optimised journey. The Costa app needs the Beans redemption redesigned. Nectar points at Sainsbury. Black Friday App Store deals. The Gorilla in a Santa hat. Pelican Internet down, tab in operation.
High Contrast Motorways
When clear skies, high pressure weather and 50 mile an hour speed limits make your outbound Beano journey much easier. An extra five Nectar points at Sainsbury. Why the Costa App needs lots of work. The Gorilla in The Regal in a Santa App. App Store Black Friday deals. The wind is cutting but the Sun is warm. Excellent Ales in The Pelican Inn but the Internet was down for the first two hours. Lovely Pub, lover Pub Fire.

Later opening Costa Coffee leads to Optimised departure. Always query changes. Planning in The Kings Fee. Nine weeks left for the current incarnation. The Grid and COP26. Swindon?

The art of the leaving time, spending my Beanos, to the second at the Regal, so good to be back at the Pelican, wet and windy and fast Premier Inn WiFi
The Art of Timing
The M4 between the second Servern Crossing and the M5 between the M4 and Gloucester are both unlit, so I’m aimed to leave just as it was getting light. It worked out really well, so I parked up, had a Bacon Roll and Coffee in Costa and still arrived at The Regal (Wetherspoons) Gloucester for 08:00. The pub and the bar opening time.
The Regal quickly filled up both with professional drinkers and Rugby fans. Despite the high positive test result numbers it looks like the Rhonda is only having a marginal effect. Oh and The Regal has a King Kong model as well.
Still raining but the Pelican opened at the dot at 12:00. Awesome Pub, Awesome Ales and an Awesome welcome. New WiFi password as well. Rained a lot as well.
