Garden – September 2020
The Summer was odd but with September we have Autumn and Autumn is as it should be. Much cooler nights which mean that the bush Tomatoes that have died back. More rain and the odd Indian Summer day. I’ve caught up with mowing the lawn but it still needs feeding. Lots of Cucumbers and the excess Blue Danubes from last year need lifting. Summer Onions are on order and will arrive later this month. Already planning 2021 gardening.
For Saturday 12 September 2020
The Saturday Wrap for 12 September 2020. Booking and then rebooking, Caerphilly in Lockdown, Away, Android 11, Shadow Lockdown and Toilet Rolls again. From #Bedwas #SaturdayWrap
Go Early and Avoid The Queues
The first Emergency Beano since the lockdown. It’s a Thursday so it’s a #CurryThursday and it drizzled. Just to Caerphilly as it’s still a bit tricky on the buses, however everyone wore masks. First in the Malcolm Uphill and the cask was all Welsh despite being somewhat limited. There were still queues mid morning to get into the Malcolm Uphill despite it not being a Rishi day. Filled my boots with a Jalfrezi and then caught the bus home. It was still drizzling then.
Even Shorter
January is a long month. Impecunious due to the early month Beano. Needed to do banking and shopping, so only a half beano with only two Fine Ales. Both uniques, so winning.
Free At The Bottom
More #mb01 training. This time half a day in The Malcolm Uphill, Caerphilly. Free Beer but only from the bottom of the cask. Still, Free Beer.
The Start of Ending
The unofficial Big Erz leaving and Welsh Language Team Christmas does. All a question of timing as the weather turned very spring like. If you look closely you may see Ty’s arm. Mostly at The Otley, Treforest.
Half A Beano
End of the year burnout, as all I wanted was a haircut and a half day in The Malcolm Uphill. There was a Curry Sale and an Imperial Stout. Mist to start.
