Strange weather, despite the sun the northerly breeze is very cool. Into the Beefeater (to be sold)? For a Premier Inn All You Can Eat Breakfast, where the Mushrooms were huge. Arriving at The Lord High Constable of England to find there was a Strongest Man Competition in the Square outside. On to the Regal and my Full English was posted to r/fryups. The Pelican where there were Cheese and Onion Rolls and Morris Men dancing in the beer garden. Just for the record, it’s not my birthday. The Bacon looked minging said Reddit.

Got those free Sats by listening to Podcasts on the Fountain. A light departure meant the sun in my eyes, visor down. Rather fresh on arrival and a non Premier Inn fire alarm going off. Costa Bacon Roll and Coffee are great but now hugely expensive. This makes the Premier Inn All You Can Eat Breakfast even better value. Watching a Spoons Barmaid refusing to serve a gentleman at 09:00 as he was already drunk, she did a very good job. Lemon, Lime and Orange slices numb my palate. Sheep are welcome in The Turks Head but no Morris Dancing. Sometimes the best aren’t best and The Pelican was packed out. Sunny Beano.

After getting up I looked out of the window and it was Red Sky Shepherds warning. Half and hour later it was raining. At 07:00 for breakfast it had eased off but it was still day. It was a Brewer’s Fayre and they had the old style conveyor belt toast maker and it was spot on first time. New craft cans in The Posset Cup and they are both winners.
Gentle rain on the way to The Siren’s Calling. More YouTube comments, this one why did my Prelude appear in his recommendations. Mild and ESB to start, both on Cask. And to end a Cantillon Gueuze.

Clear in the dark then very foggy in the light. That was the journey from Bedwas to Portishead and Portishead really is nice, especially the Marina area. With a Sainsbury opposite the Premier Inn and a Spoons just across the bridge from Sainsbury, it’s all very compact. The Marina looked lovely with the now clearing fog on it. The Posset Cup (Spoons) was packed and the Siren’s Calling lets you eat chips from the chippy next door. Full speed FTTC WiFi and fridges with more than 100 bottles of Belgian Beers in them. Sunny in the afternoon.

A fresh and clear start to mb04 Day 03, Easter Sunday. My right eye is slowly improving and it’s about time. Two new Cask Ales on at The Kings Fee and they look like Festival Ales. Beer Festing is the way forward. Well, it turns out all the Supermarkets are following Aldi’s example and shutting on Easter Sunday. Sitting back in The Hereford Beer House with Fine Belgian Ales and watching the world go by.

Day 02 starts with Apple updates all around and a runny right eye. Costa then a new Cask Ale from the Beer Fest in The Kings Fee. The Saturday Wrap with people looking over your shoulder, a little difficult. A return visit to Yates, the first time since February 2020. Boots don’t have an Infected Eye drops, there’s a supply problem. In The Beer House, St Mars of the Desert and Comic Strip Blogger wanting pictures of the Polish shop next door. And the eye is slowly getting better.

A frosty, clear and hot water bottle start. A clear sky meant a mostly light journey to Hereford. The Prelude was missing a video from Detail Duo, mostly my fault. My right eye was watery but my blocked ear seems to be getting better. Frosty in Hereford too.
I didn’t fancy the Cask at The Kings Fee, mostly old Fest Ales. So after the fruit based start, it was straight on the bottled Craft. Lunch was local cask ale and filled rolls in The Orange Tree. The Beer house didn’t open until 16:00, so it was extra time in The Orange Tree. However, superb beers on tap at Beer House.

Looking out of the window to see frost on the car windscreens. So it was a two water bottles on the dash day. Some light snow flurries on the journey up and it was mostly light from Monmouth onwards. Costa Coffee and Bacon Rolls to start, then a Fruit based drink while The Prelude uploaded. Happy Birthday from Cloudwater in The Hereford Beer House. Exchanging a Bag for Life in Tesco and then the Beano is over.

Small Lottery Win, Slightly better weather. BIH closed on Sunday, Tesco QR code woes, even more Cobs and The Magic of the Cup.
