Prelude – Beers Of The Beano – Friday 14 March 2025
Post #CurryThursday in the Malcolm Uphill, Caerphilly, where I had another three of the Festival Ales. Back in The John Wallace Linton, Newport. It’s getting more difficult to get unique Festival Ales. May have to pop up to The Pen and Wig.
Prelude – Beers Of The Beano – Wednesday 12 March 2025
And the Fest goes on, this time in The Gatekeeper, Cardiff. 20p off the Fest price of £1.99. Could be a Tiny Rebel visit later.
Prelude – Beers Of The Beano – Tuesday 11 March 2025
The weather takes a change for the colder but The Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival continues. Four uniques in The John Wallace Linton and then onto The Pen and Wig. Hoping not to slip again.
mb02 2025 Unplugged
Me, early mornings, back from the pub afternoons and video of food during mb02 in Hereford.
20250309 mb02 Day 02 Wrap
Another sunny start to the day. Emergency heating in The Kings Fee. Lady brewed Festival Ales. The Jam Factory with Ludlow. Red Azvex
Heated Spoons and Liverpool
The heating must have failed in The Kings Fee. A large fan heater sounding like a jet engine was deployed. More female brewed Festival Ales and a large Full English. Jam Factory and then The Hereford Beer House. German, begian and then very fruity from Liverpool.
20250308 mb02 Day 01 Wrap
Reformatting an SD card to start the day. Then a surprisingly light journey. An easy day on the knee and two 5.5% Fest Ales. The Filled Rolls are back and it was Rugby and discussions in The Hereford Beer House.
Early Morning Spring
Start the Beano by reformatting the SD card. A mostly light journey up and lots of lane changing around Monmouth. The knee is workable. A free Coffee in Costa and The Spoons Beer Fest. The Orange Tree quality filled rolls and it was so good to be back in The Hereford Beer House. 13 months is far too longer time.
