Heavy overnight rain and then a Premier Inn All you Can Eat Full English. The Posset Cup is full of People out for their Sunday Breakfast. Ordering things from Amazon to be delivered on my return is becoming a thing. Got on the 5GHz at the Siren’s Calling and then it started to rain. The Pub filled up with soggy punters. It also turns out it was the Pub’s 6th Birthday and I bought a £7.30 Pint.

That Punk IPA Glass

Overnight rain into a Premier Inn All You Can Eat Full English. Nursing a Sunday morning Pint in The Posset Cup. Then there was that Glass that was more hype than reality.

The Siren’s Calling and the rain started. It filled up with people sheltering not lovers of Fine Ales. 6th Birthday and survived the Rhona and a £7.30 Pint.

Not that glass

The joy of early Summer morning Beanoing. Spoons goes Cider and Perry. The constantly breaking Squarespace app. Public WiFi and pulling the battery. Tiny Portishead and an old WiFi code.

Cider, Perry and Apps

The New Daysack

When you have a light and dry journey down and you miss all of the Bank Holiday weather. You learn that you can use self check out even if you are buying a gift card in Sainsbury’s. Then Spoons are having a Cider and Perry Festival. On to the Port Bar, where I discover the Squarespace app is broken again.

Down the left hand side of the marina (for the first time) to the Siren’s Calling. There I was struggling to get an IP address on both phones and the video camera needed a hard reboot. The TV didn’t seem to want to show the FA Cup both before the end of the afternoon, they were all working. The only thing that really worked well was the new Daysack. The joys of quality Beanoing.

Another Mini Beano, another Bank Holiday and this one will be all in the light. Not too hot and cool enough for smocking, with all its pockets. AI music and pictures, then The Posset Cup, The Port Bar and The Siren’s Calling. A Cider Festival, Real Ales, A Micro Brewery and a Great CAMRA Pub.

Mostly AI

Now in 1080p but still with bad lighting and drunken presentation. Odds and sods from #mb02 2024. The back to Portishead Beano.  Faulty apps and WiFi.

Slightly better Webcam

Logged the WiFi with reception and they are phoning it in. Changing my Discord email address which involves changing a name of an inbox to match the address I gave to Discord. Trying the Squarespace app on the iPad Pro and it works in different way but its still buggy as hell. Going on the cans in the Posset Cup.

Going to blog about my Premier Inn All You Can East Full English. The walk to The Port Bar was sunny but a bit blowy. The Ales very well made. There was a Glass and it had bubbles. The Siren’s Calling was full of dogs and a nearby spillage.

Another Beano is over

Could Spring Be Just Around The Corner

The rain was finished by 08:00 and the Yellow Rain Warning was cancelled soon after. Cans, not Cask in The Posset Cupas the limited selection was the same as yesterday.

The walk to The Port Bar, which opened at 10:00 was rather pleasant. Sunny but a bit windy. The Ales, well, were very well made.

The Siren’s Call with the hot nearly Spring Sun and dogs that weren’t friends. There was spillage but it wasn’t mine.

Yes, those bubbles!

The drizzle arrived but the fog, well it was only the odd patch of mist on the journey down. Getting off the Prince of Wales bridge and into England, it immediately became light. Portishead was mild with cloudiness and the odd shower.

The Port Bar had run out of XL T-shirts so I traded up to XXL. I can always bulk up.  The joy of Fine Cask Ales in The Siren’s Calling.

And the WiFi in the Premier Inn failed after an hour. Tethering with everything.
