20211003 – mb03 Day 02 Wrap
Premier Inn Full English, Welsh Water and 08:00 Bar? Warehouse 4 Taproom, The rain returns. Tank for some Electric Bear.
Self Servicing Beano
The rain has stopped, the Premier Inn WiFi is surprisingly fast (still not that fast) and I am full of their Full English. The Lord High Constable of England (Spoons) has Brecon Carreg Water and 38/17 WiFi.
Warehouse Four opened on time and is still very much work in progress. However, all the basics are they. Seats, beer, WiFi and power. Friendly welcome, good beers and sofas to boot. The only issue is that all the beers I tried were too lively and I got underserved. Nothing too serious and it’s only a teething problem. Definitely going to come back.
Tank, also part of the Gloucester Brewery and back across the bridge from Warehouse Four. More foody and some great Craft Ales on Keg. Today’s it’s some winner’s from Bath’s Electric Bear.

20211002 mb03 Day 01 Wrap
The art of the leaving time, spending my Beanos, to the second at the Regal, so good to be back at the Pelican, wet and windy and fast Premier Inn WiFi
The Art of Timing
The M4 between the second Servern Crossing and the M5 between the M4 and Gloucester are both unlit, so I’m aimed to leave just as it was getting light. It worked out really well, so I parked up, had a Bacon Roll and Coffee in Costa and still arrived at The Regal (Wetherspoons) Gloucester for 08:00. The pub and the bar opening time.
The Regal quickly filled up both with professional drinkers and Rugby fans. Despite the high positive test result numbers it looks like the Rhonda is only having a marginal effect. Oh and The Regal has a King Kong model as well.
Still raining but the Pelican opened at the dot at 12:00. Awesome Pub, Awesome Ales and an Awesome welcome. New WiFi password as well. Rained a lot as well.
20200307 #mb04 Day 01 Wrap
The thing about a Great Beano is that it’s almost over as soon as it’s begun. No rain, new Bacon Baps, Pint cans in Pink Floyd covers in a Brewery #mb04
The Doctor Foster Visit #mb04
A quarter in the early light of dawn and checked in via Touchwiz. A new style Costa Bacon Roll and Youtube upload issues. Overdoing it on Cheese & Onion Rolls and Happy Pint Cans from Arbor. Pink Floyd in The Gloucester Brewery and I’m back. Happy #mb04.
For Saturday 07 March 2020
Live from The Regal. St David’s Day, Spring, Remote access, SETI shutting down, driving automatics and #CoronaVirus #Gloucester #SaturdayWrap
Seeing Dr Foster #mb04 2020
Not raining, no frost and it started to get light on the M5 coming up. A relatively easy check in, in the Premier Inn and it was straight into Costa Coffee. The Bacon Rolls are now Baps but the Bacon is as good as ever. The bar in The Regal opens at 08:00 and it will be all downhill from there onwards.
20191005 #mb14 – Day 03
The final wrap of #mb14 2019. The Oktoberfest 2019 Beano. The highlights day by day. Day 01 Rhubarb Custard Milkshake IPA and in the spirit of cross platform integration, David Spark’s Apple Book The Guide to Markdown. And yes, I see the irony there. Day 02 was the Gloucester Brewery Oktoberfest 2019 German Hat. You gave got to get into spirit of these things. Day 03 introducing a CAMRA member to the joys of Untappd. And then it was over.
