Semi sleep in and it was already hot when I left the Travelodge. Luckily The Bridge House was back open. Police bringing drunks in to get served and a fresh cask of Plum Porter. A gentle afternoon in The Waverley with a fan.

Well The Bridge House was back open today. The Police were bringing Sherber Follower in. PM in The Waverley. Quality Fan.
Prelude – Beers Of The Beano – Sunday 24 August 2025
A late start and would The Bridge House be open again after yesterday’s burst pipe. It was and the Police were bringing a drunk in to get a Pint. He had Ruddles. Me, a fresh cask of Plum Porter was just going on. It was strangely more amplified that the last time I had it.

What happened on the first day of mb06 2025
A standard pleasant start to mb06. Costa breakfast and then a ice bucket arrive to the Bridge House. Evacuated when water started to gush from the ceiling. Finishing the pint in the beer garden. The Prince of Wales for the afternoon. Where I had my first £10.00 can of beer. Times are hard!
