Without A Spoons
The M5 North just as it’s getting light on a Saturday morning. Kidderminster which is full of hills and roundabouts. Blowy with lots of expensive supermarket petrol. The Premier Inn car park is pay too. No Spoons and no Central Costa. Luckily the Swan opened at 10:00. Unluckily the WiFi was down.
What a find the Beer Emporium is. Extremely friendly welcome. Cask, Keg, Cider, Bottles and Cans. FTTC WiFi too. A must come back.

The first time I have Beanoed and there is no Spoons. There is a Pseudo Spoons where it used to be but no Spoons and no central Costa. No problem, The Swan opened at 10:00 and it is a cracking city centre pub.

June or the end of June 2019 see me return to Wessex. More correctly Dorchester and Weymouth. The 20th June was chosen as I could have most of my journey in the light.
However when you stop off at Sedgemoor South, M5 West Country and it’s just after 03:00, it is still dark. However the toilets are clean and the McD’s coffee cheap and good. Free O2 WiFi but tethering to ThreeUK LTE is a better bet.

Happy to be back in the land of 750 Volt 3rd rail trains. A guards strike on South Western Railways had little effect. Watch out for the Black Cat on the Weymouth bound platform.

Winning! I wonder if I’ll get a shout out from Retired Martin for finding a Pub with a 07:00 start?
50% local cask, which is good. LOCALE.

Moving on to The Doghouse. Weymouth’s finest and as far as I know micro pub. Next to the Library if you are a reader?
