20231028 Prelude mb13 Portishead October 23
Showery, chilly and dark, however, it is a quality Beano. Avoiding the 20mph M4 protests and loading up with sandwiches in Portishead Sainsbury. Bacon Butty and all you can drink Coffee before the bar opens. The rest of the itinerary as well.

The mb13 Journal – Hereford November 2022
This really is a lot of odds and stuff. Christmas lights, me burbling on, beer, chips and festive lights. The true spirit of Beanoing.
20221127 mb13 Day 03 Wrap
2 for 2 as both contact lenses go straight in. Tweets of German Smoke Biers get you great Twitter stats. Another sign of Christmas, the 2023 Radio Users guide is out and now ordered. No mince pies in The Kings Fee, however a Manager’s Special saves the day. The TV remote control for the TV opposite me goes missing, so it’s the World Cup on the iPad Mini. Tesco you need more people on the tills and self service is unreliable. Big German, Malty start in the Hereford Beer House. And then it’s over.

The Missing Mince Pie
DH Unplugged and not quite the Lazy Beano model, despite it being a later start due to it being Sunday. So the start is in The Kings Fee. Orange Juice but a World Shortage of Mince Pies. Also they have lost the remote control for the TV opposite me, so I’m watching the World Cup on my iPad Mini. The Hereford Beer House, big German, Malty start.
DT: Saturday World Cup Updates
For Saturday 26 November 2022
2nd Class Stamps
A rainy Saturday (again) but not as bad as back home. Aren’t 2nd class stamps expensive? When all else fails on the cask ale front it’s time for Hazy Jane. The Imperial, reduced cask but your basic sports bar plus food. Why did I leave it so long before returning to The Hereford Beer House. Jonny showed up as well. Rauchbiers.
Mid Morning At The Imperial, Hereford
Mid Morning almost Brunch. The Doha is coming soon. So, it’s the HPA from Wye Valley Brewery. It’s really is a Pale, Pale Ale.
20221125 mb13 Day 01 Wrap
It’s been since June and with a dry start but with spray. Not keen on dipped headlights. Hereford is Christmasy but there are no lights on the tree. Costa Coffee and Bacon. Almost no Luxury, Festive Mince Pies. Wales were awful and Senegal are now the boys. The Orange Tree is first class and their Cobs at £2.50 are huge. Didn’t quite make The Beer in Hand.
