The International Rainbow Project 2019
The last Beer House Beano of Summer or Indian Summer 2019 #mb13. A dark journey in, cool to start and then it got up to 24c, the Beer House Front Door was wide open. The star of the day was The International Rainbow Project 2019. UK and USA brewers producing some wonderful ales and the pump clips are all the colours of the rainbow. Going to put that down for a revisit next day. Good times that pass very quickly. Hello Autumn with your Yellow Rain Warning.
Software Updates and Pre Booking
Saturday Wrap – 21 September 2019
#mb13 and a Pre Booked Hereford Beer House at 10:00. A sweet Pixel 3a Android 10 upgrade. Why I’m skipping iOS 13.0 and Apple are turning in Microsoft with point zero releases. Micro Pubs, why they are disparate and niche and wonderful. Live from Costa Coffee, Hereford #Saturdaywrap
A Sporting Belgian
Autumn (The Fall) hit’s the beautiful Lower Rhymney Valley with only the first day as an Indian Summer. Cardiff where only Wetherspoons have sensible opening times (says me). Ending up in The Head of Steam where the live Untappd feed is only upstairs now. Belgian low alcohol ales and it is as good as the full fat. Power and USB sockets all over. It didn’t rain.

But I have a designated spot
Right There by The Station
28 June 2019
From an Ancient Book I took a clue, well actually it was Retired Martin’s Blog again. Happening to already being in Hereford, home of the wonderful Hereford Beer House It was just a couple of taps on The Transport For Wales Rail app and I was on my way.

Yes despite being in England, Hereford Station is run by Transport for Wales. You have to feel sorry for them.

However I got a seat and the aircon was working unlike the journey back.

Not the largest of Railway Stations but at least it had a carpark. It’s on the edge of town. Across the road from Tesco and Aldi.

I had no idea that there was a Brewery next to the station and that it was open from 10:00. Twattery already in progress, always a good sign.
Nicely cool inside, great welcome, fast non captive portal WiFi and the toilets are clean. Marked down for a return visit. An excellent fine. Plenty of merch too.

Handily it’s open seven days a week. Anyway onward.

The Rose and Crown, an Old School Real Ale Pub in the town centre. A couple pints of cask and some Friday lunch. Ham, Eggs and Chips obvs.
Great Pub, so so WiFi.
The Church Inn just around the corner. More of a Gastropub and it may be The Ludlow Brewery Tap?
Back to The Ludlow Brewery as the station has no waiting room or toilets for that matter.

A packed two carriage Class 150, no aircon but I did get a seat. The tunnel was the coolest part of the journey back.
