Without a Bridge

A good start to the Beano with two unique pints in the Malcolm Uphill. Classic Public Service on the Stagecoach bus to Pontypridd. A great pint of Digger’s Gold by Grey Trees in The Rickards Arms in Treforest. Cask rising no doubt? Swarm App told me that I hadn’t been in The Otley Arms since January 2020. I raised a glass from Polly’s Brew Co to an Absent Friend. No Apple Pay but I’m coping like the wind. A great day and now with Tesco sarnies to finish.

Go Early and Avoid The Queues

The first Emergency Beano since the lockdown. It’s a Thursday so it’s a #CurryThursday and it drizzled. Just to Caerphilly as it’s still a bit tricky on the buses, however everyone wore masks. First in the Malcolm Uphill and the cask was all Welsh despite being somewhat limited. There were still queues mid morning to get into the Malcolm Uphill despite it not being a Rishi day. Filled my boots with a Jalfrezi and then caught the bus home. It was still drizzling then.

The Start of Ending

The unofficial Big Erz leaving and Welsh Language Team Christmas does. All a question of timing as the weather turned very spring like. If you look closely you may see Ty’s arm. Mostly at The Otley, Treforest.

When you are going on a Beano, #mb17 by the way. You can’t just go, you need training. That’s where the Malcolm Uphill #Caerphilly comes in. By the way, not all ciders are cider. Some are Festive Ales.
