A Camden Breakfast, dry and satisfying. Meet the Brewer at The Port Bar and get Two, Two Thirds. The Siren’s Calling, Cask, Cask, Keg and a Final Cask. Food from a Sainsbury’s Service Station with an extra 5 Nectar points.

Sore Feet and Weather

Bank Holiday Weekend Beano, rain, drizzle, hammering down and then windy and sunny. The Posset Cup, The Port Bar and then an IPA Festival in The Siren’s Calling. Sausage and Batter and Chips too.

Beer again

That Punk IPA Glass

Overnight rain into a Premier Inn All You Can Eat Full English. Nursing a Sunday morning Pint in The Posset Cup. Then there was that Glass that was more hype than reality.

The Siren’s Calling and the rain started. It filled up with people sheltering not lovers of Fine Ales. 6th Birthday and survived the Rhona and a £7.30 Pint.

Not that glass

The New Daysack

When you have a light and dry journey down and you miss all of the Bank Holiday weather. You learn that you can use self check out even if you are buying a gift card in Sainsbury’s. Then Spoons are having a Cider and Perry Festival. On to the Port Bar, where I discover the Squarespace app is broken again.

Down the left hand side of the marina (for the first time) to the Siren’s Calling. There I was struggling to get an IP address on both phones and the video camera needed a hard reboot. The TV didn’t seem to want to show the FA Cup both before the end of the afternoon, they were all working. The only thing that really worked well was the new Daysack. The joys of quality Beanoing.

A Semi Sour Saturday

In The Corner With 4G

Welcome to British Summer, dry if a little chilly. Premier Inn Full English then The Lord High Constable of England. Taking my time over my Pints.

Then the Hop Kettle, excellent in every way except no customer WiFi. Great staff, a loyalty card and a large mixture of Cask and Keg Fine Ales. I sat in the corner, again, mostly for the LTE. Going back, no doubt.

Great Glasses

Gloucester At Home

Fuelled up on a Premier Inn all you can eat Full English, I made my way to The Regal. Blogging and Beer drinking. It filled up with Gloucester Rugby Fans.

I wanted to go to The Turks Hurd but that was wall to wall with Gloucester Rugby Fans.

Luckily, I got to The Pelican before it too filled up with Gloucester Rugby Fans. I was stuck in the corner unable to get to the bar. However, it all ended with a wonderful Irish Apricot Sour.

When it’s lighter than you think. When the heavy rain isn’t forecast. When your Good Friday opening hours don’t reflect what your website says. Spoons for Bacon Butties and Diet Cupcakes. Yes, it’s #mb05 and I’m back in Gloucester.

Warehouse 4 of the Gloucester Brewery, a wrist strap and for plastic glasses, a rather nice one. Young ladies playing a Les Paul and should I spend £13 on a Burger. These are the big Good Friday questions. Missed the last video. It was Deya and it was B++
