20250420 mb03 Day 02 Wrap
Just because it’s sunny doesn’t mean it isn’t cold. Cans in The Bridge House and a Sunny afternoon in The Waverley. Upon leave it was looking rather grey.
Beers Of The Beano – Sunday 20 April 2025
The Bridge House and The Waverley, Chippenham.
20250419 mb03 Day 01 Wrap
Of course it was a rainy start to this Easter Beano. Costa now opens at 07:00, which is a plus. Spoons was rather quiet early on, probably due to it being a wet Easter. Missing Top Plates. The Prince of Wales was Great. Great Welcome, Great Beers and Great Clientele.
20250419 Prelude mb03 Chippenham April 2025
Two preludes for the price of one. Prelude for mb03 and Beers of The Beano 19 April 2025. Live from Chippenham and my face from The Bridge House. Ale – Patron Saint from Elgood’s.
20240224 mb03 Day 02 Wrap
Looking out of the window in the Travelodge to see the cars in the carpark covered in frost. Not a good sight. Standard Costa breakfast. Test Transcriptionist in The Kings Fee and boy does it have an odd UI. The Beer House was full of Cloudwater Birthday Ales and newly arrived merch. I purchased both. A cold and frosty departure.
The New Merch
A cold and frosty start to the day. Costa and then The Kings Fee. Big Queues and a fallback to Doombar. The Beer House and lots of new Merch and Cloudwater 9th Birthday Ales. I certainly need more days in Hereford in 2024.
20240223 mb03 Day 01 Wrap
Starting with an icy roof on the car, then mist in Trethomas and finally semi sunny entering Hereford. As I got out of the car in the Travelodge carpark it started to rain. Sainsbury, then a Coffee in Costa and the standard Cask Ale and filled rolls in The Orange Tree.
It got very Pubby in the Beer In Hand with experimental hops and lots of dogs. I need to visit it more.
