A Saturday morning in The Malcolm Uphill before moving on to The Project. The weather is a little confused and I’m on the Röad Crëw Ale. All rather pleasant.

After the heatwave, the very rainy Saturday. The penultimate day of The Wetherspoon’s Cider and Perry Festival. Drinking local with Gwynt y Ddraig Fiery Fox. Dangerously drinkable at 6.5% ABV. I’m mostly complaining about the weather.

A sunny Saturday in Caerphilly, annoying kids in the Malcolm Uphill. 10% in The Project and a private party meant I was sitting next to the bar. Also, Iron Brew Sour.

Some views of Caerphilly Castle on the way to The Malcolm Uphill, Caerphilly. Sunny and calm and a great time for refreshing ales. The Dark Island looks heavy but really suits the day.
