Times are hard and getting harder. September is the month when things are breaking and need to be fixed / replaced. That’s where quality Fine Ales and Beanoing comes in. Tesco 4 for the price of 3 to start and then off to Caerphilly for an afternoon in The Project. Raising a glass to Todd Cochrane.

A different sort of prelude this week. I was in Aldi on Monday and saw their Hazy Jane knock off at £1.69 for a 440ml can. Purchased it and now doing a compare and contrast with the original. Prelude, Caerphilly, this afternoon.

Another hybrid Beano and it’s time to finish off the 4 for the price of 3 from Sainsbury’s. Starting with an updated version of Cheeky V from Tiny Rebel. Red, fruity and a touch sour. The Project in Caerphilly later.

After the heatwave, the very rainy Saturday. The penultimate day of The Wetherspoon’s Cider and Perry Festival. Drinking local with Gwynt y Ddraig Fiery Fox. Dangerously drinkable at 6.5% ABV. I’m mostly complaining about the weather.
