Garden – July 2020
June was a lot like April with lots of mixed weather and the start of July has been similar. However, I have saved on the water meter and the now fed lawn has turned green. So far, food eaten from the Garden, Strawberries, Mint, Lettuce, Red Duke of York (chipped), Spring Onions and Senshyu Yellow (Summer Onions). Weeding like the wind, as you would expect. I have some small Tomatoes but they are still green. Hoping they turn read soon. Lockdown easing.

Garden – May 2020
Happy that the fence is back up but it really needs painting. Lots of weather both a heatwave and lots of rain. Frost returning in w/c 10/05/20 according to Derek The Weather. Getting compost has been difficult but Aldi has rescued me a number of times. Whilst food shopping, not on a separate journey. The Blue Danubes (maincrop) have finally pushed through and the Red Duke of York have started to flower. Indoor Spring Onions and the outdoor Summer Onions are coming on well. Lettuce (mixed) are making good progress and the indoor seedlings – Tomato, Peppers and Cucumbers are all to schedule. I think there will be Strawberries by the beginning of June. The weeds, well they seem rather weed killer resistant. Staying safe.

Garden – September 2019
The middle of the month had a week of Full On Indian Summer and it was all rather good. Strawberries, lettuce, tomatoes and onions all fro the garden. But since then it has rained and rained with the lettuce pot flooding. A quick in and out to get the video before the rains started again. Clearing the weeds and digging the left over potatoes start next week/month.
