Despite what you said on Watchdog last night, my Tom Tom worked fine. Sure it took me through the back of beyond but I did set it for the quickest route. Long stay car park e-ticketing worked fine. Checked in as soon as I arrived too, thank you Easymints :-). Need a coffee now!

While the world goes on around you

It’s strange, when you have time to burn. The world keeps on turning and people keep on hurrying. An air of calm descends on you, as you walk through the confusion of a Monday morning. Time for reflection and quiet, future planning. Pacing towards the distance with a pleasant, certain knowledge. The rain doesn’t come, the wind, calm. Life can and is good.

Packing & Thinking

Sunday afternoon and it’s a good time to get the packing started for Newcastle.  Bergen, Cappuccino (Nestle), Rohan clothing, a GPS  & 2 four gangs.  All well within my 20Kgs, not sure what will happen when I add all my power adaptors.  Also, it’s the first time I’ll be doing an on the move blog, Mr Roberts.  How about heading South next time, now there’s a question?

October, Autumn & Lawn

Still surviving with 4.5 TOG but it can’t be long now.  Time to sort the lawn out for winter.  I’ve spiked it, scarifyied it, mowed it and fed it.  Now all I need is a bit of rain to was the fertiliser in and guess what?  The weather for the next week is fine, still at least the car won’t flood.
 
Derek’s full as well, so it’s just as well there’s less from the garden to put into him.
